The Orthodox Academy of Crete, along with the After Constantine Journal and the international Medieval network Medievalists.net, is organizing an online workshop entitled “Late Antique and Medieval Christian Literature”.
Late Antique Christian literature in the East refers to the literary works produced in the Eastern part of the Roman Empire during the Late Antique period, which roughly spans from the third to the eighth century. Late Antiquity witnessed significant developments in Christian thought, theology, and spirituality, and the literature of this time reflects these advances.
